It is Monday morning, and you may be wondering why you have a newsletter from The People’s Pharmacy in your inbox. In fact, you may have missed the newsletter on Friday and wondered why you didn’t get it. So here is the explanation:
Hurricane Michael
Hurricane Michael slammed into the Florida panhandle hard on Wednesday afternoon, leaving terrible destruction in its wake. We are far away from Florida, though, and were really taken by surprise when Hurricane Michael hit Georgia and the Carolinas, where we are, as hard as it did. We are glad to be unharmed, but we lost power and internet connectivity on Thursday afternoon. Those trees you see in the picture are in our front yard.
We were grateful that power was restored on Saturday, along with our connection to the internet. That meant, however, that we had no way to post your Friday newsletter. That’s why you are getting it today.
