Tea Cuts Risk of Stroke

Tea drinkers have been getting good news the last several years. Some studies suggest that tea may have heart-healthy compounds. Now research from southern China demonstrates that tea drinkers have a reduced risk of experiencing a stroke. People who consumed at least one cup of tea a week over three decades cut their stroke risk by 60 percent. Those who drank oolong or green tea daily reduced their risk by over 70 percent.
