Younger people benefit from vigorous exercise. A study of more than 150,000 men and women over 15 years suggests that activity level predicts the risk of dying from colon cancer. Regular exercise over 10 years or more was associated with the lowest risk of colon cancer diagnosis and death. The researchers point out that brisk walking 30 minutes daily can have tremendous health benefits.
