A. Narcotic pain medications like hydrocodone, oxycodone, OxyContin, Percocet, Tylenol with Codeine and Vicodin and are notorious for causing constipation. Even anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen (Advil) and naproxen (Aleve) can make constipation worse.
