How You Can Enjoy The People’s Pharmacy Ad-Free

If you would like the opportunity to browse our site ad-free, you can do so for a modest monthly fee. You'll just need to sign in.

Have you ever wished you didn’t have to look at the ads when you are reading our posts about health? Wish you could browse ad-free? We have occasionally gotten inquiries from readers who assume we have placed every ad ourselves with great care. However, that is not how the internet works. Although we try hard to screen out ads that are objectionable, including ads for prescription drugs, we don’t have complete control over what shows up on your page.

Why You See the Ads You Do:

Mediavine, the company serving ads for our website, tries to give you ads you might be interested in. Sometimes that can be helpful; sometimes, however, it may be distracting or simply annoying.

How to Browse Ad-Free:

Running a website costs money, and ads help pay the bills. However, if you would like to browse ad-free, we can now offer you that option. For $5 or $10 a month (your choice), you can sign in and enjoy an ad-free experience on The People’s Pharmacy. Click the button that says “go ad-free” at the top of the page. On the next page you see, click on the button that says “subscribe.” You can create an account and peruse to your heart’s content ad-free whenever you sign in. Just make sure you sign in once a month with the 6-digit one-time access code. If you are not signed in, the ads will still be there. To sign in, click on your profile button. It is the one in the upper right of the page.
