Male coffee lovers are getting some good news about their favorite beverage. A Swedish study involving almost 40,000 men between 45 and 79 years of age revealed that there is no relationship between coffee drinking and heart failure. Previous studies had suggested a possible link between heavy coffee consumption and weakening of the heart muscle. The latest research should reassure male coffee drinkers that coffee does not appear to weaken their hearts as they age.
